ok, I am sick and tired of this project, job and my so-called seniors, superiors or whatever you
want to call them... I have been sitting late - EVERY DAY and working and re-working and analysing and testing the damn product for the past 2 months... These past couple of days, have been eventful with fights, accusations and finger pointing.. and remarkably, I have kept my cool - i.e. till today. Today, I lost it... he asks me to sit till 10 or whatever time it takes for the work to complete!! I mean, yesterday I reached around 9:30 and had to deal with drunk auto drivers and I was so scared!!! I told no - I will not sit so late, so now I'm branded as un-cooperative and that I'm not a team player!!
Assholes, I tell you - all of them..They are simply playing games and it's not funny at all to be made the scapegoat...
If you have anything supportive to say, the comments place is yours, if you are trying to be troll-like and supportive of the damn idiots I work with - BUZZ OFF!!!
(ok, I feel better now after all that ranting, but the situation is bad...very bad)

good you didn't stay!even yest my mum was telling me about how some woman was gangraped by 7 people when she was coming home from work, at 8.30 in the night, can you believe it?anyway, just wondering.. you can't work from home?
tuff call, gurl... but put ur foot down when u think u need to. that's just a job... and u, ur safety & ur peace of mind is way more important!
take care...
First off Hugs. Take a breath and make some tea. I am glad you put your foot down and did not stay late. Never compromise your personal safety. Can't you work from home instead of at the office? In anycase you should bring up this issue with your boss. I know it sounds tought but its always better to clear the air by telling him you are a team player, but personal safety comes before everything. Hope the next week is better.
I echo Dotmom's advice. Your personal safety comes first. Can you get hold of your boss for a few, quiet minutes and tell him your side of it? That you feel unsafe going home late? Maybe you can get home and log back in to work till late?
Hugs and all the best. Hope everything turns out OK.
Oh Pixie, see, this is one of those times I totally wish we lived closer, right now I would pour us both a glass of wine, we would get all comfy on the couch and this is what I would say....
Unless your job entails finding the cure for AIDS and you are right on the brink of discovering it, there is NO reason for anyone to be at work so damn late. period.
Secondly, I take offense to the fact they say you are not a team player, that is bullshit.
As I polish off my wine I say fuck them, they so totally do not deserve to share the same office space with you, let alone breathe the same air as you.
I am cheering for you girl, all the way from over here!!
Going by the first line of your post, maybe its time to look out for a new job. Or a different profession maybe if you feel most of the jobs in your current profession are the same.
Take care, girl. It won't matter in the long run... I am glad you put your foot down... I am sure those small minds will never get brighter ideas than those...
it sure seems quite bad! And I can truly imagine how angry you must be working with such asshole of people!
@everyone: Thanks u guys.. you have all been so supportive and so nice and understanding... its nice to know that my decision is the right one...
There is no option for working from home and the worst part is my manager justs shrugs it off!! I mean - he doesn't listen to what we have to say and supports the so-called seniors!!! So, no hope there... as of now am sitting tight - changing jobs seems to be good option....
find another job where you are appreciated, hon!
