Can't think of an actual title for this post...

For my 3rd anniversary, I went ahead and did the unthinkable! I got my hair coloured...
(Yes, its no big deal, but to me it was anyway!)
It's not like I got it coloured into something drastic... no, I went ahead and got it coloured brown! :D

It's not any different and you have to look real hard to see the actual colour change, but, it's a step ahead and I know that next time, I will try out something else!
But, getting to the parlour and actually getting the colouring done itself was a major task! I have thought of this before, but have chickened out at least 3 times before! heh! But, this time went ahead and got it done... I love my hair now and I know I could have gone for a lighter shade of brown too... :)

Another important thing that is worth a mention is, we went to watch the movie - Delhi 6. (Loved the movie!)
After the movie, I was in the restroom waiting for my turn when a girl walks out of the cubicle without wiping off the period stain on the toilet seat! Gross!
So, I did what any self-respecting, no nonsense individual would do, told her to wipe it off! She looks at me straight in the eye and says it isn't hers!! :D
So, I tell her that the stain is new and she used the cubicle, so she must have the decency to wipe it off... she glares at me, goes back inside, closes the door, cleans it up, comes out and calls me a bitch! :D
I smiled at her and said thank you... Another lady admonished the girl as well as she walked away...
I don't get it, how can anyone be so yucky... and she was dressed in total designer wear and looking all chic, but with no personal hygiene or manners...

Now, Delhi 6 - I enjoyed the movie... it was simple.
The movie is driven by its characters and most importantly, Abhishek Bachhan is easy on the eye and he doesn't over act and I feel he is a natural and his dialogue delivery isn't heavy. I seem to be liking him more than Hritik Roshan as well! Sonam Kapoor is beautiful and also very simple... her acting is pretty good and I feel that she has a lot of potential... Waheeda Rehman, Rishi Kapoor and a couple of character artistes whose names I don't know have done an awesome job...
Sunday was peaceful and very special... We now step into the 4th yr of married life and life seems to be going along just fine. (touchwood!)
Let's see what this year holds for us as a couple and as individuals too... :)

So untidy some girls can be...
It's very unhygienic also... Even my GF tells me about this problem in her office sometimes!

Belated Happy Anniversary.

I did not like Delhi 6.

That was bad and you had guts! I have no idea what I would have said when she said it wasn't hers ...

And I loved Delhi 6 too, very much! Isn't it so relevant today?

ooh.. must check orkut pictures, if you've put them up, that is!

and ewww.. that girl shouldn't be allowed to use public toilets.

delhi 6 was a major disappointment. the movie could have been so much better, he nearly had it but he ruined it!

you should drug that girl, and get a tattoo done on her... on her cheek or something... saying "do NOT allow me to enter public restrooms"
EWWW!!!

and we're a visual audience... and demand to see pics of noo hair.

First of all, "ewww" :-) and secondly, good job on reprimanding her! I would too, if I was allowed to enter the ladies' loo :D

@everyone: Even, I'm still thinking as to how I managed to tell her off like that! :D
But, it was so icky...

@Indyeah, Swati: thanks for the wishes... :)

The hair is brown, before it was black.. so not too much of a difference, except the Grey have been covered up very well! :P

I have asked the hubby to click a few pics of the hair, he has rolled his eyes and walked out of the room as of now!! But, will work around that and post some pics!
:D

@Illusionaire: yea... that's pretty corny considering what all that's been written! :D

You colored your hair !!! A toast to you !!!
I am glad you were able to take that plunge :)

Haven't yet ventured it out ... perhaps its the thought of erasing all caster oil / mehendi / methi nourished hair with some coloring that is holding me back.
I need to be brave and try coloring !!

Pixie, I color my hair every 3 months. So I am a veteran.

I love change and I have tried almost all colors except Blonde :)):))

I used to be Auburn fan but it gives a reddish tinge which after sometime looked like Henna so now I mostly go with Ash Brown. Hair color brings me happiness :)

As for that loo incident. Yuck!

Delhi 6 good attempt but bad execution. I still love ROM though.

Happy Anniversary to both of you, Pix!!! S and me have already completed 4 years and it seems like it was only the last week that we got married. :)

Wishing you both many many more years of happiness, joy and contentment together!

Wow! Colouring...how cool! Upload a pic please.

And yes, many people have no sense of hygiene or civic sense! I travel to India twice a year, and the restrooms on the aircraft can be quite a nightmare! The buggers dont even bother to flush! YUCK! They should be made to eat from the same bowl !!

I hair used to be naturally auburn...but for some reason turned a little darker during my pregnancy! So, this time, when I visited India, i colored my hair auburn for the first time in my life! :)

I pressed publish before I could express my disgust at people who have no sense of hygiene and have the audacity to be rude when faced with facts. You did the right thing in not letting it go. Just shows that clothes don't make the woman!
