I don't understand...

Even in this day and age, just because Suzzane Roshan (Hrithik Roshan's wife) is at her parents' place, they are saying she has split from her husband and that guy is having an affair...

Is that the only reason why a girl goes home to her parents??
Couldn't it 'Just because'?
Both husband and wife have spent considerable amount of their time and energy "explaining" her reasons!!

Really?
Is it necessary? It's her wish or their wish... isn't it?
why is going her own home being made into such an issue?
Don't we have better things to devote our time and energy to?

Just like how they have portrayed the "unmarried" lady in the Kannada serial "Muktha Muktha"
I do agree that even in this day and age, unmarried women face a lot of hassles and discrimination...
But, when the director says he is trying to show something different... couldn't he have at least portrayed someone who is happy about her single status?

Someone who is confident and strong emotionally, willing to fight her battles by herself, without moping around with truck loads of self-pity?!!
Let's see something different people... some change... something revolutionary which will make us sit back and say "how's that for a change?!!"

Pixie, I totally agree with everything you say here! It is so sad that even today, a single woman, who is happy to be that way - is seldom portrayed in the media.. and there are so many women out there - who are single by choice - and happy to be that way!

As for the Suzanne Roshan controversy - I think the fact that they are celebrities - adds an entertainment value to everything they do... So that might be the reason there is so much focus on them - everybody is looking for a juicy bit of gossip!

i don't know about this p'lar case... so this is a general comment on the way media-celebs manage their rship.

i won't be surprised if hrithik has a release lined up and this were a publicity stunt.
they're celebs. their lives are treated as public property by the media. and a lot of times, the celebs go along with it as well.

Useless jobless people I tell you. And yeah I do wish T N Seetharam could go beyond the self-pitying character he's sketched. But maybe he's got to keep to the expectations of his audience and I don't see them being very liberal minded as to identify with a strong, singledom celebrating woman.

That was exactly what I thought when I read it somewhere. Why can't she go to her parents' place without so many people speculating they split and stuff. It's just so sad that people always take things in a negative sense. Anyway...

Pity there are people hungry for any type of gossip ... OR are the journos jobless ???

About the change ... recently read somewhere Rakhi Sawant ka Swayamvar ... totally new idea (according to her) ... me thinks its pure controversial gimmick in the name of reality shows !! (hasn't anyone heard of The Bachelor ???)

Pixie, Most of these stories are part of film publicity. Hrithik-Barbara's Kites is releasing so I am sure Roshans leaked this story.

Remember SRK went for his shoulder surgery just around Billoo Barbar for sympathy but the film still didn't work.

Hey pixie,

this is my first trip to your blog. People just like to stereotype others so that they feel comfortable. And i think ,this suzzane roshan issue, is just another masala news to spice up otherwise boring bollywood! whatsay!

Probably some people are just unhappy about their single status or probably you can enjoy your single status until you've age on your side, after a while all the insecurity starts creeping in. That's what happened to somebody I know. Besides I believe, it's different people differen perspectives.

And the entire Hrithik Roshan drama was a whole load of rubbish!

media just highlights anything and evrything, but the sad part is that soemtimes theya re able to creat a rift in the relationship where there was none.
